Indoor Rated Ceiling Fans

Dry, or Indoor, Rated Ceiling fans are meant for just that: dry and indoor rated locations. These are not meant for use in high-humid areas or areas that are exposed to the elements of rain or snow. Use of indoor fans in non-indoor approved locations might result in your blades dripping/sagging, rust, or other mechanical issues that would result in the fan not working (which would not be covered under product warranties).
